Segal Standard

The Practice

Tutors held to the standard they teach

Every Segal tutor has scored in the 99th percentile of the exam they teach, holds degrees from the institutions our families aspire to, and has spent a decade or more teaching one student at a time.

We hire slowly and rarely. A Segal tutor must demonstrate three things before meeting a student: a verified top-percentile score on the exam they teach, a sustained record of moving students at the score ranges we serve, and the temperament to hold a demanding standard without theatrics. Credentials earn an interview; a teaching audition earns the position. Fewer than one in twenty applicants joins the practice.

Profiles shown are placeholders illustrating our credentialing format; they will be replaced with our current faculty before publication.
